On the weekend of May 2nd, the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Delta Lambda Chapter gathered in fellowship for the Delta Lambda Foundation’s annual Wine Tasting & Tour event at the picturesque Boordy Vineyards in Maryland. As we commemorate our charter month, this cherished tradition brought together brothers, supporters, and friends for an afternoon of celebration and community.

Under the exceptional leadership and organization of Brother Kama Tillman, this year’s event was a resounding success. Nestled among Maryland’s rolling hills, Boordy Vineyards provided the perfect backdrop for an event that exemplified the spirit of brotherhood and service. The vineyard came alive with wonderful people sharing delicious food, sampling exquisite wines, and creating enjoyable moments that will be remembered for years to come.

This annual gathering serves as more than just a social event. It’s a vital fundraiser that supports the Delta Lambda Foundation’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the communities we serve. Through programs focused on education, mentorship, and community development, our foundation continues the proud legacy that began with our charter on May 23, 1919.

The success of this year’s Wine Tasting & Tour is a testament to Brother Tillman’s dedication, the hard work of our brothers, and the unwavering support of our extended Alpha family. As we celebrate 107 years of excellence, service, and brotherhood this charter month, events like these remind us of the strength found in unity and the impact we can make when we come together.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and supported this program. Your presence and contributions enable us to continue serving our community with the distinction and purpose that defines Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
