Comcast recently awarded Delta Lambda a grant for $20,000 to support our Go to High School, Go to College program efforts. Ms. Rosetta Kerr-Wilson, VP of Community Affairs hosted chapter president Tim McFadden and past president R. Anthony Mills at a meeting to give them the good news and present the check. According to Bro. McFadden, the $20,000 will jump start and continue the work to raise money through corporate and foundation giving, begun during the Mills administration, to further the aims of the fraternity.
Ms. Kerr-Wilson was presented the Delta Lambda Chapter Community Partner Award at our Founders' Day Celebration (Sunday, December 6, 2009). The award was presented in recognition of Comcast's continuing partnership and financial support of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity - Delta Lambda Chapter in its various outreach programs. Bro. Ralph Johnson and R. Anthony Mills accepted the award on Ms. Kerr-Wilson's behalf.
