Membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is coordinated at the national level. Individuals interested in membership should visit the National Headquarters website at www.alphaphialpha.net or write to:

Potential aspirants should be advised that all communication regarding the Membership Intake Process MUST be coordinated through the corporate office and the appropriate district official (i.e., the District Director or Chief of the Pharaoh's Council).
Completed applications should ONLY be forwarded to the District Director having authority over the chapter. Do not forward completed applications to the Corporate Headquarters or any other member member of the fraternity. Your application for membership will not be considered complete unless all requirements have been included.
A completed application must include:
- The Original Application
- Official College Transcripts
- Photocopy of College Degree (alumni only)
- Three (3) Letters of Sponsorship
Two current members of the chapter
One additional member - Proof of Voter Registration
- Membership Essay
- Resume/Biography
- Membership Fees
